This policy covers the VTA Goods website and our apps — Thumby and Stork Money. Plain language first, details below.

01Who we are
VTA Goods LLC ("VTA Goods", "we", "us") is an app studio registered in Washington, USA. We operate this website and two consumer apps: Thumby (AI thumbnails for YouTube creators) and Stork Money (a daily brief for your investment portfolio). This policy explains what we collect across these products, why, and the choices you have. Where a specific app collects something extra, we call it out explicitly.
02What we collect
Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the basic profile those services share (name, email).
Content you provide — Thumby. Images you upload (including photos of your face if you choose to use them), text prompts, titles, and the thumbnails you generate. This content is processed by our AI providers solely to generate your results.
Content you provide — Stork Money. The tickers, holdings, and portfolios you add. Stork Money is read-only: we never receive credentials that could move your money, and we don't require linking a brokerage account.
Purchases. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. We receive purchase confirmations (product, date, status) but never your payment details.
Usage and device data. Basic analytics — app version, device model, OS version, crash reports, and anonymized usage events — so we can fix bugs and improve the products.
03How we use it
We use your information to provide and improve the apps: generating your thumbnails, preparing your daily portfolio brief, syncing your data across devices, answering support requests, preventing fraud and abuse, and understanding which features matter. We send transactional emails (receipts, account notices) and — only if you opt in — product updates. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
04What we don't do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising in our apps, and we do not use your content to build advertising profiles. Your uploaded images and portfolio data are never shared with data brokers. Stork Money's brief is informational only — we don't trade on, or share, what you hold.
05When we share
We share data only with service providers that help us run the products — cloud hosting, AI model providers (for Thumby generation), market-data providers (for Stork Money), analytics, and email delivery — each bound by contracts limiting use to our instructions. We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition (we'd notify you first).
06Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Delete your account in the app settings or email us, and we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Generated thumbnails and uploaded images are deleted with your account.
07Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access inside our team is limited to what's needed to operate and support the products. No system is perfectly secure — if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.
08Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@vtagoods.com — we respond to every request, usually within a few days. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
10Third-party services
Our apps and site link to third parties — the App Store, YouTube, market-data sources. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy doesn't cover them. Market data in Stork Money is provided for information only and isn't financial advice.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our products evolve. Material changes will be announced in the apps or by email before they take effect, and the date at the top always reflects the latest version.
